CURABLE COATING COMPOSITION

With respect to 100 parts by mass total of Component (A) containing a urethane adduct compound that exhibits weatherability and Component (B) that comprises an alkoxy silane compound with maleimide groups and a colloidal silica reaction product, the disclosed curable coating composition comprises 99-65 parts by mass of Component (A), 1-35 parts by mass of Component (B), 0.1-10 parts by mass of a radical polymerization initiator as Component (C), 1-12 parts by mass of an ultraviolet absorber as Component (D) and 10-1000 parts by mass of an organic solvent as Component (E). The disclosed composition exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and weatherability as a coating for plastic base materials that are used outdoors.
