<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing a flicker when an image is in a non-display state in a predetermined direction in a liquid crystal display which displays an image in different directions without using a parallax barrier, and a liquid crystal display system. <P>SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device having a transmissive liquid crystal panel, a first light source and a second light source which illuminate the liquid crystal panel, when a first image is in a display state and a second image is in a non-display state, the second light source is illuminated with predetermined light quantity set in accordance with light leakage quantity which is generated in a second direction by illumination of the first light source during a predetermined period in which the first light source is not illuminated, thereby a flicker with respect to the second direction is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
