<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental testing device capable of securing high testing precision while achieving energy saving even when an air replacement means and a cooling means are used together. <P>SOLUTION: The environmental testing device 1 includes: a sample arrangement part 2 at which a heat generation sample body W generating heat is arranged; an air blower 12; a heating means 13; an air replacement means 21 capable of replacing heated air with outside air; and at least one cooling means. Then, when temperature of the sample arrangement part 2 is lowered, control is shifted to the cooling temperature control after a simultaneous control period during which both of the air replacement temperature control using the air replacement means and the cooling temperature control using the cooling means are performed.
