<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize power saving by selectively using a timer according to operation characteristics of application processing. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communication terminal device comprises an operation processing unit for modem which is started by an intermittent timer to perform reception processing of a radio wave at a constant interval by a communication protocol at least in a stand-by state, and an operation processing unit for application for performing application processing. The operation processing unit for application, when there is a timer setting request requested by active application, compares expiration time of a timer specified by this timer setting request with a pre-set threshold value, and if the expiration time of the timer is larger than the threshold value, the operation processing unit for application sets the expiration time of the timer and transits to a sleep state, and if the expiration time of the timer is smaller than the threshold value, requests the operation processing unit for modem to perform interruption at timing of an intermittent reception cycle and transits to a sleep state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
