<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stability of a position and a posture of a display element such as an LCD element held on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A display element holder 40 holds an LCD element 20 on a circuit board 10. The holder 40 includes an element supporting part 48 which supports an element body 22 of the LCD element 20, a first holding part 54 and a second holding part 58 which hold the element body 22 in a vertical direction. The first holding part 54 and the second holding part 58 include holding surfaces 56a, 58a for holding the element body 22, respectively. The holding surfaces 56a, 58a are inclined along a front-rear direction such that a distance therebetween is lessened with increasing distance from the circuit board 10. The holding surfaces 56a, 58a hold the element body 22 by contacting the element body 22 held by the element supporting part 48 from both sides in the vertical direction and convert resilient force of the first holding part 54 into force for pushing the element body 22 toward the element supporting part 48 so that the element body 22 is pressed toward the element supporting part 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
