<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage container excellent in design and applicable for various layouts. <P>SOLUTION: The article storage container 1 includes a sector-like bottom 2 with a central angle of 90° and a peripheral wall erected perpendicular to the bottom. The peripheral wall includes: an outer peripheral section 3 and an inner peripheral section 4 that face each other in parallel; and a pair of right and left side walls 5 and 6 with a fitting projection provided in one side wall and a fitting recess to be fitted thereto provided in the other side wall.
