<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having such a feature as emitting loud sound but not a buzz sound, with ease and at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A sound emitting device includes: a housing; a substrate provided inside the housing; a case that incorporates a sound source mounted on the substrate; and a duct unit that is coupled to the substrate and the housing, and that covers the case. The case incorporating the sound source has an air hole and a sound emitting hole. The duct unit includes a partition for separating an interior space of the duct unit into an interior space of the duct unit that the air hole faces and an interior space of the duct unit that the sound emitting hole faces, as separate spaces.
