PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication equipment capable of processing data concerning facilities at a proper timing.

SOLUTION: An electronic coupon is distributed from a management server 5 via the Internet to a portable device 1, and communication setting data for specifying a communication condition and validity of the electronic coupon are transmitted to a shop device 3. When the portable device 1 comes close to a range where a short-range communication is enabled between the portable device 1 and the shop device 3, communication is established between the portable device 1 and the shop device 3 based on the communication condition. Further, when determined that the electronic coupon held by the portable device 1 is valid for the shop device 3, the portable device 1 is notified of presence of a shop associated with the electronic coupon in the vicinity.
