<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state monitoring circuit capable of detecting that a voltage of a secondary cell suddenly drops due to overcurrent, thus protecting a battery unit from a sudden voltage drop in the secondary cell 1 due to overcurrent. <P>SOLUTION: The battery state monitoring circuit includes a voltage comparison circuit and a power supply voltage detection circuit that detects a sudden drop in a power supply voltage, and is configured so that a normal overcurrent is detected by the voltage comparison circuit and a sudden drop in a power supply voltage due to a load short circuit or the like is detected by the power supply voltage detection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
