SECONDARY SURVEILLANCE RADAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary surveillance radar which is effectively utilized for capturing an aircraft by determining propriety of a signal when multiple detection of a mode S response occurs during an all-call period.

SOLUTION: A secondary surveillance radar includes a candidate aircraft list storage 135h for storing a candidate aircraft list; address determination means 135c for determining whether or not a mode S address of an aircraft included in a response signal received by receiving means during the all-call period agrees with a mode S address of an aircraft in the candidate aircraft list; correlation determination means 135d for determining whether or not a reception timing of the response signal is included in a correlation range associated with the mode S address of the candidate aircraft in the candidate aircraft list when it is determined that the mode S address of the aircraft included in the response signal agrees with the mode S address of the candidate aircraft in the candidate aircraft list by the address determination means; and update means 135f for adding a mode S address of an aircraft to update a roll-call capturing object list when it is determined that the reception timing of the response signal is included in the correlation range by the correlation determination means.
