SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SIGNAL IN A WIRELESS NETWORK

PURPOSE: A call processing system in a wireless network and method thereof are provided to solve interference problems between a femto signal and a macro signal by improving handover rates about a femto cell and a macro cell. CONSTITUTION: A macro base station(100) divides the frequency band of a macro cell into two or more frequency domains. The macro base station uses data FA(Frequency Allocation) in order to process a data call using one or more frequency domains. A femto cell base station(200) processes the data call occurred in the femto cell using femto cell data FA including the frequency domain the same as the data FA of the macro base station. A voice call occurred at a portable terminal is processed.
