PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search again a route to an initial destination by inputting the destination once even when a route search condition is changed, for instance, a moving means is changed during a movement in a guide route, or an intermediate destination such as a parking place in the periphery of the destination is searched. SOLUTION: A navigation system 10 includes a route search server 30 and a portable terminal device 20. The portable terminal device 20 includes a first destination storing means 39 for storing the first destination set by the portable terminal device as the route search condition. In accordance with the moving means selected by the portable terminal device 20, a guide of a second destination is provided. When the portable terminal device 20 requests a route guide to the second destination, the navigation system searches a route to the second destination to provide the guide route. After the guide route is provided, each time that the portable terminal device 20 changes the moving means, the navigation system searches a route to the first destination in accordance with the first destination stored in the first destination storing means 39.
