Lawn care apparatus comprises a support deck for supporting a grass cutting device having a grass displacing channel 36 and a grass collector. The grass collector has a grass entrance 64. The grass displacing channel is adapted for communicating with the grass entrance and wherein a lower side of the grass entrance is formed with a gap or cut-out. The grass entrance may have first, second and third edges which are successively joined together. The third edge 649 is located at the forefront of the grass entrance and the first and second edges 645, 647 extend from a point where they are connected to the third edge in the direction away from the forefront respectively and interconnect at an end thereof to form the gap. |
