BUILDING STRUCTURE OF A HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER STATION (PUMPED STORAGE HYDROSTATION) ON SOFT BASE AND METHOD FOR ITS CONSTRUCTION

A building structure of a hydro-electric power station (pumped-storage hydrostation) on soft base comprises lower section of a building as shafts with circular contour, wherein the first shaft is arranged with complete contour, and the second and each following shaft – with not complete contour with connection of the ends of those to the previous shaft at distance upper and lower than the long axis of the building. The shafts can be arranged with straight section between the ends of the shaft that adjoins those, at that the straight section is normal to the long axis of the building. Construction of the shafts is carried out from the surface of the pit by slurry wall technique. First one makes the walls of the first shaft, then the second and the following shafts, with connection of those to the walls of the first (previous) shaft, with extraction of earth and with concreting constructions in cavity of the first shaft, then one excavates earth and concretes constructions in the cavity of the second (previous) shaft, after that the process is repeated. Besides that at making the walls of the first and the following shafts with connection to the walls of the previous shaft earth from the cavities of the first and the following shafts one excavates in each following shaft to smaller depth compared to the previous one, with concreting the constructions in the cavity of the first shaft, then one additionally excavates earth from the cavity of the second and the following shafts to smaller depth compared to the previous one, after that one concretes the constructions in the cavity of the second shaft.
