PURPOSE: An impedance matching apparatus of an antenna and method thereof are provided to match the impedance of an antenna in order to satisfy a transmission level and a reception level in a CDMA mode. CONSTITUTION: An impedance adjusting unit(160) configures a transmission state table for detecting a control signal by a power difference detecting unit. The impedance adjusting unit configures a reception state table through RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) and Ec/Io(Energy carrier-to- Interference density). The impedance adjusting unit determines the control signal capable of controlling the impedance of the impedance adjusting unit through the reception state table and the transmission state table. The impedance adjusting unit outputs the determined control signal to the impedance adjusting unit.
