<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate that prevents waviness or crack on a cut surface that is prone to occur when the roll state polarizing plate is cut by a laser beam and has an improved optical characteristic under high temperature and humidity, and a liquid crystal display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The roll state polarizing plate comprises a cellulose ester film on both sides of a polarizer, in which an average acetyl group substitution degree is 2.0 or higher and smaller than 2.5, and a melting point thereof is within a range of 200-290°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
