ELECTRIC CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector assembly that is made short in its engagement direction, and has high insertion/extraction durability.

SOLUTION: An electric connector assembly 1 comprises a pair of connectors 10 and 40 which engage with each other. The one connector 10 has a first contact 30. The first contact 30 has a lock arm 34 that locks the other connector 40 when the pair of the connector 10 and 40 engages with each other. The lock arm 34 bends in a direction (arrow Yy) substantially orthogonal to a mutual engagement direction (arrow Zz) of the pair of connectors 10 and 40. A direction (arrow Xx) in which the lock arm 34 extends from a fixed portion 31 is substantially orthogonal to the mutual engagement direction (arrow Zz direction) of the pair of connectors 10 and 40.
