<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element having high voltage holding ratio and suppressed of remnant charge, and a liquid crystal aligning agent, polyamic acid or a derivative thereof for manufacturing the liquid crystal display element. <P>SOLUTION: This polyamic acid or derivatives thereof is obtained by reacting a diamine including the diamine expressed by general formula (I) or (I') with a tetracarboxylic dianhydride including pyromellitic dianhydride and cyclobutane tetracarboxylic dianhydride, provided that n denotes an integer of 1 or 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
