<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surveillance camera system that achieves coexistence and function maintenance of IP network apparatuses between those employ standardized communication format and those employ proprietary communication format. <P>SOLUTION: A surveillance camera system controls an IP network apparatus using a standardized communication format and a proprietary communication format. If an IP network apparatus intended is not equipped with prescribed functions, another IP network apparatus substitutes the function. As a result, an IP network apparatus employing the standardized communication format can utilize the functions based on the conventional proprietary communication format, while an IP network apparatus employing the conventional proprietary communication format can utilize the functions based on the new standardized communication format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
