Disclosed is a terminal capable of selecting a prescribed process that is carried out on an item even if a user does not precisely drop the item within a desired region. A terminal (10) comprises a process table (60) wherein prescribed process descriptions are stored; a display means (20) for displaying items; an input means (30) for detecting a drag and drop operation on an item; an operation determination means (40) for determining, when the drag and drop operation is detected, whether a prescribed operation is included in the drag and drop operation; and a process selector means (50), which selects the prescribed process description from the process table (60) when the prescribed operation is determined to be included, and which selects the drag and drop process when the prescribed operation is determined not to be included.
