<p>PURPOSE: A black ink composition is provided to offer the excellent affinity to a nozzle for obtaining high quality images and flatness when printing with the composition. CONSTITUTION: A black ink composition contains a dispersible black dye, a diethylene glycol compound, a solvent, and water. The dispersible black dye is carbon black. The diethylene glycol compound is selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol mono-butyl ether, diethylene glycol mono-butyl ether, triethylene glycol mono-butyl ether, triethylene glycol mono-methyl ether, and dipropylene glycol methyl ether.</p> |
