<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-stop agent for water-impervious sheets which does not require to be warmed and is handled easily. <P>SOLUTION: The water-stop agent is used for repairing a damaged portion of the water-impervious sheet laid on the ground and is a urethane-based water-stop agent obtained by mixing a chief agent containing an isocyanate component with a curing agent containing castor oil-modified polyester polyol and a plasticizer component. The chief agent is a mixture of polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate with 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate. The plasticizer component is diisononyl adipate.
