<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shield composite filter for PDP having an electromagnetic wave shield function and an optical function or the like which can prevent increase in total thickness, number of processes and cost, deterioration in productivity, and generation of residual air bubble caused by an adhesive layer when the electromagnetic wave shield filter and a functional layer are laminated, without adding planarization resin layers or the like, and which can earth easily and can prevent disconnection. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shield composite filter for PDP 10 has a functional layer 4 having an optical filter function or the like laminated on a conductive pattern layer of an electromagnetic wave shield filter 3 having the conductive pattern layer 2 on a transparent substrate 1 without any adhesive layer. Further, a minute projection 5 of projection height of H0.78-50 μm is preferably provided on the laminated surface of the functional layer. The electromagnetic wave shield composite filter for PDP is placed on the front face of a plasma display panel main body as a plasma display panel.
