#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves moving a C-arm (4) of an X-ray device (2) to a desired trajectory such as along bone of a patient (13), and determining the review of relative orientation of a displacement direction and the trajectory of a selected shift direction of the X-ray device by measurement using a marker i.e. infrared marker (16). The markers are firmly arranged along a longitudinal direction of the patient located on a patient couch (12) e.g. operating table.
