<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate sufficient reaction magnetic flux to reduce counter-electromotive force so as to increase rotational speed of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes an armature using an armature core 1, and a rotor 2 disposed on an inner circumferential side of the armature with a predetermined air gap in between the armature and the rotor 2. The armature core 1 has a yoke 11 on a circular outer periphery thereof, a plurality of teeth 12 extending separately in a radial direction from the yoke 11, and slots 13 between the teeth 12. Armature reaction magnetic flux has such magnetic reluctance as to be more likely to flow to the side of the adjacent teeth 12 of the armature than to the side of the rotor 2. Main magnetic flux from magnetic poles of the rotor 2 has such magnetic reluctance as to be more likely to flow to the side of the yoke 11 of the armature than to the side of the adjacent teeth 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
