<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control system that reports communication abnormality of a communication portion of a luminaire without making a person nearby the luminaire feel unpleasant. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination control system comprises a plurality of luminaires L which each have a light source 7 for emitting visible light, a lighting circuit for turning on the light source 7, and a control portion for controlling the lighting circuit, and to which unique individual addresses are set respectively, and each luminaire L has a communication portion 9 which has a function of receiving an external control signal for controlling the lighting circuit. The lighting circuit and control portion include a current control portion 11 which controls an output current to the light source 7. A control portion of the current control portion 11 indicates abnormality of the communication portion 7 through visible light communication such that when a failure in reception of the control signal by the communication portion 9 is recognized, the light circuit is controlled to blink the light source 7 in short cycles enough not to feel the blinking with the human's eyes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
