<p>Agricultural products are primarily harvested by combine harvesters according to the prior art methods to reap the same. While harvested crops are threshed from the straws, the latter are spread back to the field. Since the straws are used as fodder for livestock, it is required to pick up the straws by means of harrows and to bail the same for transportation purposes. Since these operations cannot be done in a single session, a substantial manpower and fuel consumption come into question. The bailing machine produced with the present invention is coupled to the straw outlet of combine harvesters known from the prior art and serve to harvest the crops and separate the straws, and at the same time to collect the straws before they are spread to the field to form bails therefrom. Thus, crop- harvesting and straw-bailing operations are conducted in a single session.</p> |
