PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which prevents cooling fluid supplied to a rotor conductor from getting attached to a slip ring and a slide of a brush.

SOLUTION: A partition member 82 seals cooling liquid supplied to a rotor coil 30 by a seal member 84. A bus bar 99 electrically connected to a slip ring 97u protrudes to an input side rotor 28 side through the position between the seal member 84 and an input axis 34 from the slip ring 97u side with respect to the rotor rotation axis direction, to be electrically connected to a bus bar 79 at a protruded portion 99a. An insulation member 90 encapsulates a portion 99b, which goes at least between the seal member 84 and the input axis 34 in the bus bar 99.
