<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater with high usability, in which, soon after the completion of installation thereof, operation modes for avoiding a shortage of hot water and having an improved efficiency in actual use are shown on a display to enable a user to recognize the best suitable operation mode for the user. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes: a heater 2 for heating water; a hot water storage tank 1 for storing the hot water heated by the heater 2; a display 4; and a controller 3. The storage type water heater is characterized in that: the controller 3 has a plurality of operation modes which are different depending on whether having at least an additional reheating operation for daytime; and the controller 3 determines an operation mode based on data of the amount of hot water used after the installation of the water heater, and displays on the display 4 the determined operation mode and the data of the amount of hot water used after the installation of the water heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
