<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element low in power and high in reliability under high-temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL element includes at least an organic layer 3 having a luminous layer 3b and formed in layers between an anode 2 and a cathode 4. The luminous layer 3b at least includes: a host material having a ratio (μeEM/μhEM) between a hole mobility (μhEM) and an electron mobility (μeEM) of 0.6 or more and 10 or less; a light emitting dopant emitting light; and a hole transporting dopant. A ratio (μhHT/μeEM) between the electron mobility (μeEM) of the host material and a hole mobility (μhHT) of the hole transporting dopant is 0.1 or more and 10 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
