<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which makes reduced noise caused by vibration of brushes by improving dimensional accuracy of a brush holder caulking fixed to a holder stay. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing leg 61 is provided in an integrated fashion in an area about a half in an axial direction from an axial direction end facing a guide wall part 43a of a side wall 44a of a brush holder 44. The fixing leg 61 is inserted through a fixing hole 62a provided on a holder stay 43, and by folding back a tip of the fixed leg 61, the brush holder 44 is caulking fixed to the holder stay 43. In addition, in an area about a half in the axial direction from the axial direction end facing a commutator of the side wall 44a of the brush holder 44, a positioning leg 63, in addition to the fixed leg 61, is provided, and the positioning leg 63 is press fit to a positioning hole 62b provided on the holder stay 43; thereby the axial direction end facing the commutator of the side wall 44a is accurately positioned at the holder stay 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
