<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long optical cable which uses an optical loose cable and can prevent an optical fiber from buckling even when the optical cable is wound. <P>SOLUTION: The optical cable comprises an optical loose cable 2 storing multiple optical fibers 4 in a sheath 5, and a clamp base 3. The clamp base 3 comprises: a sheath fixing part 6, provided at an end of the optical loose cable 2, to which the sheath 5 is fixed; an engaging part 7 to be engaged with a case of an optical device to be connected; and an insertion hole 8 to which the multiple optical fibers 4 are inserted, for guiding the multiple optical fibers 4 to the case. The insertion hole 8 is filled with an adhesive, the filled adhesive is solidified to form an adhesion part 19, and the multiple optical fibers 4 inserted to the insertion hole 8 are fixedly bonded to the clamp base 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
