<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow efficient production of a composite oxide which has high flexibility of composition, has a target composition, and is excellent in the uniform dispersibility of each element. <P>SOLUTION: There is prepared an aqueous solution containing a substance A which is at least one selected from the group consisting of a chloride of Ba, a chloride of Sr, a chloride of Ca, and a chloride of La, a substance B which is at least one of a chloride of Ti and a chloride of Zr, and tartaric acid. The pH of the aqueous solution is controlled to the alkali side to thereby precipitate a composite oxide precursor containing at least one of Ba, Sr, Ca, and La derived from the substance A and at least one of Ti and Zr derived from the substance B. The composite oxide precursor is heat-treated to synthesize a composite oxide mainly including at least one selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr, Ca, and La and at least one of Ti and Zr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
