<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting an insole which enables exact and simple position alignment and mounting of the insole having a shape corresponding to the sole arch of a human being and having a protuberance in a portion of the sole arch corresponding to the apex of the lateral arch of the sole arch, to a shoe sole or another insole which is already present in the shoe sole. <P>SOLUTION: A first part 1 is stuck or fixed to the sole of a user so that the position of the apex of the protuberance 1a of the first part 1 may agree with the position of the lateral arch of the sole arch, and a second part 2 is set to the sole of the user so that the base end portion of the second part 2 and the heel portion of the user may agree with each other, while the first part 1 and the second part 2 are stuck or fixed together to manufacture the insole.
