<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine that prevents deterioration of combustion in the internal combustion engine using an alcohol-mixed fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 100 of the internal combustion engine using fuel containing alcohol includes an injector 32 for cylinder injection which injects fuel into a cylinder 12. The control device 100 of the internal combustion engine further includes a needle controller in which: a needle 64 of the injector 32 for cylinder injection at the beginning of injection of the alcohol-mixed fuel from the injector 32 for cylinder injection is operated with a low lift amount, while the needle 64 of the injector 32 for cylinder injection at the later stage of the injection of the alcohol-mixed fuel from the injector 32 for cylinder injection is operated with a high lift amount; the greater alcohol concentration contained in the alcohol-mixed fuel is, the shorter a period of the low lift amount is and the longer a period of the high lift amount is. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
