METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SENDING INTER-FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT CONFIGURATIONS DOWNWARDS

A method for sending inter-frequency measurement configurations downwards is disclosed. The method includes: an Evolved node (eNB) performs a swap action on a measurement configuration copy, which is formed according to measurement configurations, to obtain the first measurement configurations; the eNB generates the second measurement configurations according to self-configurations and user equipment (UE) abilities, and compares with the first measurement configurations; if the first measurement configurations are the same with the second measurement configurations, measurement configurations are not filled in the controlling message; if the first measurement configurations are part of the second measurement configurations, in the controlling message, the extra measurement configurations on target side are put in an addition list; if the first measurement configurations are different from the second measurement configurations, in the controlling message, the first measurement configurations are put in a deletion list, the second measurement configurations are put in the addition list; and the eNB sends the Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection reconfiguring message downwards to the UE according to the controlling message.
