<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To travel while keeping speed with high level of accuracy in a target speed band in a section with gradient, in a train route in which a position of own train cannot be correctly detected. <P>SOLUTION: A train control device includes: an acceleration and deceleration operation part 15 which samples the present train speed and calculates acceleration and deceleration; a speed prediction part 17 which finds a grade resistance of a track based on the acceleration and deceleration and notch characteristics, and predicts the train speed after prescribed time using the grade resistance and notch characteristics; and a notch command determination part 18 which determines a notch command so that the train speed after the prescribed time is settled in speed tracking band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
