摘要 The robot controller (RC) has a reception medium (IF) for receiving a safety information over a network data connection (B). A safety agent (SC) is configured to perform a safety function based on the received safety function. A deactivating medium is configured to disable the safety function. The deactivating medium is a simulation medium (MT) for simulating the safety information received over the network data connection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an automation system with a plant controller; (2) a method for controlling, particularly operating a robot by a robot controller; and (3) a computer program product.
