An image display apparatus comprises a backing panel 23 with one or more first raised portions 14 located on the panel, each having an upper surface upon which is secured an image 18 for display. One or more second raised portions 16 are also located on the panel, each second raised portion having an upper surface to which a mounting panel 20 is secured with each second raised portion and mounting panel having at least one inner edge arranged to surround a perimeter of the or each first raised portion such that each first raised portion is located within, and spaced apart from said second raised portion and mounting panel to create a channel there between. The mounting panel is formed from two or more panel components 20a, 20b, 20c, 20d. The use of a two or more panel components to fabricate the mounting panel reduces the material required and reduces wastage. |
