Lane safety system and method for temporary blocking of a section of a lane

The system (1) has a conducting bar (8a) coupled with a displaceable drive unit (6) at an end region and with a bearing unit (9) at another end region (B). The bearing unit is guided at crash barriers (4a, 4b), which are arranged along a lane section (2). The bars are arranged in a wedge shape and enclose an angle (C) together with the barriers. The former end region of the bars is detachably connected with the drive unit by a coupling unit (7). The coupling unit is displaceable in a transverse direction of the drive unit. A safety gear (13) extends between the drive unit and the barriers. An independent claim is also included for a method for temporary blocking a section of a lane for a working place by a mobile lane safety system.
