摘要 PURPOSE: An FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) welding system and an FPCB welding method using a laser are provided to control the power and time of laser beam to be irradiated to a bump by reading out the reflectivity and irradiating range of metal using a scanning unit. CONSTITUTION: An FPCB welding system comprises a laser source(110), an amplifier(120), an irradiation stand(130), a scanning unit(140), a monitoring unit(150), and a control terminal(160). The amplifier amplifies the laser beam created from the laser source. The irradiation stand fixes bumps formed in a PCB terminal and an FPCB terminal to correspond to each other and aligns a PCB and an FPCB so that the laser beam is irradiated to the bumps. The scanning unit scans the bumps between PCB and the FPCB on the irradiation stand. The monitoring unit observes the bumps on the irradiation stand. The control terminal is input with scan information from the scanning unit and observation images from the monitoring unit and controls the amplifier to control the irradiation range of the laser beam.
