PURPOSE: A cooling device of a motor for driving a submerged pump is provided to rapidly rotate a drive shaft by using working fluid. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device of a motor for driving a submerged pump comprises a motor case(27), a driving shaft(22), an inlet port(24), an outlet port(31), an energy converter(38) and a drainpipe(18). The driving shaft is supported with the inner side of the motor case to restrict the rotation. The driving shaft rotates the driven part of the pump body using the tip-end part projected outside the motor case. The energy converter is installed between the inlet port, the outlet port and the base part of the driving shaft. The drain oil, leaking in the motor case, is returned to a working oil tank.
