<p>There is provided an information processing apparatus including a display, sensors, and a controller. The display displays a plurality of items on one side of a display screen. The sensors detect an operation input to the one side of the display screen. When contact operation is detected, the controller selects the item displayed near the detection position of the contact operation. Further, when pressing operation with a predetermined pressure is detected in such a state that the item is selected, the controller determines the selection of the item.
