The timepiece has casing elements constituted of a back (2), a middle (1), a transparent dial (3), a bezel (26) and two watchstrap strands, and a glass (34). The back, the middle and the bezel define an inner volume (4) of a watch case (6) in which a clock movement (M) is housed. A light source (10) e.g. LED, is housed in the inner volume, and produces light that passes through a transparent or translucent portion of the corresponding element. Each strand has a light guide e.g. optical fiber, mounted on the top of a transparent plastic layer that is provided with a decorative sheet. The decorative sheet is made of Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)(RTM: transparent thermoplastic material). The casing element is made of metal or transparent or translucent material that is chosen from a group comprising plastic material, ceramic material, sapphire or silica glass. The light source produces light that is chosen from a group comprising UV light, violet light, blue light, white light or infrared light. The transparent dial is made of opaque material. |
