<p>A method of enabling online banking, the method including the steps of providing a banking customer with a form containing visual information relating to a banking transaction, the form including coded data printed as a collection of tags, each tag being indicative of an identity of the form and of a location of the tag on the form, wherein at least some of the visual information and at least some of the coded data is coincident on the form, interacting with the surface by operatively positioning an optically imaging pen relative to the surface, the pen having a nib, imaging a tag on the surface, computing a position of the nib from an observed perspective distortion on the imaged tag and a known geometry of pen optics, transmitting, to a computer system, indicating data from the pen, the indicating data regarding the identity of the form and the position of nib relative to the surface, and identifying, in the computer system and from the indicating data, at least one parameter relating to the banking transaction.</p> |
