PURPOSE: A method for processing basalt is provided to reduce the intemperate collecting of volcanic rock basalt by recycling a basalt gemston which is discarded in a processing procedure. CONSTITUTION: Used basalt, which is discarded after processing or in a guarry, is collected or quarried(S10). The basalt is washed so that a collected basalt is easily processed or attached(S20). An adhesive is spread in the connection part of the basalt to mold the basalt of a specified shape for decoration(S30). A pigment is spread on the outer surface of the basalt for obtaining the unity of a molded decorative basalt(S40). The basalt used for processing is a volcanic rock like a pumice, a trachyte, and a matsutake stone. |
