PURPOSE: An Angelica Koreanum extract with anti-inflammation and antioxidation and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to suppress the generation of NO without skin irritation. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for anti-aging contains 5-30 wt% of Angelica Koreanum extract. The extract is isolate by adding water, hydrophilic organic solvent, or mixture solvent thereof to Angelica Koreanum. The extract is prepared using purified water, anhydrous or hydrous methanol of 1-4 carbon atoms, ethanol, propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, glycerin, propylene glycol, or butylene glycol. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a skin softener, nutrition lotion, nutritional cream, massage cream, essence, pack, emulsion, oil gel, and mask pack.
