PURPOSE: A metal alloy for dental porcelain and dental prosthesis is provided to enhance palladium and indium content and to ensure chemical stability. CONSTITUTION: A metal alloy for dental porcelain contains 0-35 wt% of gold(Au), 5-35 wt% of silver(Ag), 6-40 wt% of indium(In), 30-70 wt% of palladium(Pd), and 0-5.0 wt% of boron(B), germanium(Ge), zirconium(Zr), silicon(Si), or iron(Fe) element. The metal alloy further contains 0-10% of zinc(Zn), tin(Sn), gallium(Ga), selenium(Se), carbon(C), antimony(Sb), or copper(Cu) element. A dental prosthesis is manufactured using the metal alloy.
