<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax stress concentration at the time of the occurrence of an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: A building 1 includes a first building portion A<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and a second building portion A<SB POS="POST">2</SB>which are extended in different directions x<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, and x<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, respectively, and are connected in a connecting portion G<SB POS="POST">1</SB>. In the building 1, structure planes C<SB POS="POST">11</SB>and C<SB POS="POST">21</SB>consisting of beams and columns are constructed in the building portions A<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and A<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, respectively, and the structure planes C<SB POS="POST">11</SB>and C<SB POS="POST">21</SB>are connected by a first connecting member E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>. A horizontal angle β<SB POS="POST">1</SB>between the one structure plane C<SB POS="POST">11</SB>and the first connecting member E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is let to be in the range of 90°<β<SB POS="POST">1</SB><180°, and a horizontal angle β<SB POS="POST">2</SB>between the other structure plane C<SB POS="POST">21</SB>and the first connecting member E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is let to be in the range of 90°<β<SB POS="POST">2</SB><180°. Thereby, the stress concentration in the vicinity of the first connecting member E<SB POS="POST">1</SB>can be relaxed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
