<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination using LEDs in which illumination of a ring shape and a curvature shape can be obtained and moreover it can be manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 is provided with a light source 11 for illumination. The light source 11 for illumination is provided with an LED module 20 having at least one LED mounted on a board and an oblong light guide body 30 which is formed in a plate form and is curved in a length direction. The light guide body 30 has an incident face which has an end face of the light guide plate 30 in the length direction and into which light emitted from the LED enters and an emitting face which is a face of the light guide body 30 extending in a length direction (for example, a bottom face and a side face) and emits the light incident from the incident face. The light guide body 30 is, furthermore, has a diffusion face which is the other face of the light guide body 30 extending in the length direction (for example, an upper face) and in which a diffusion pattern for diffusing the incident light from the incident face is formed, and the diffusion face is covered with a reflecting body of a plate shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
